Coxi Rid is a veterinary medication formulated to treat intestinal coccidiosis in poultry and birds. It's especially effective against infections caused by various Eimeria species, which are protozoan parasites responsible for coccidiosis.

🐔 Primary Use: Treatment of Coccidiosis

Coxi Rid targets the following Eimeria species:

• E. acervulina
• E. necatrix
• E. mivati
• E. maxima
• E. tenella
• E. brunetti

These parasites damage the intestinal lining, leading to symptoms like:

• Bloody droppings
• Weight loss
• Reduced feed efficiency
• Mortality in severe cases

💊 Composition

Each gram of Coxi Rid contains:

• Sulfaquinoxaline – 200 mg
• Diaveridine – 50 mg
• Vitamin A – 2.5 million IU
• Vitamin K – 5 mg

This combination provides:

• Antiprotozoal action (Sulfaquinoxaline + Diaveridine)
• Support for mucosal healing and clotting (Vitamin A & K)

🧪 Dosage & Administration

• Water: Mix 62.5 g in 100 L
• Feed: Mix 125 g in 100 kg
• Treatment cycle: 3 days on, 2 days off, then 3 more days

⚠️ Precautions

• Do not use other sulfa drugs concurrently
• Withdrawal times:
  • Meat: 7 days
  • Eggs: 10 days
