Ganadexil is primarily used in poultry for the treatment of bacterial infections, especially those caused by Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., and Mycoplasma spp.. Its active ingredient is Enrofloxacin 10%, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic commonly administered via drinking water.

🐔 Common Uses in Poultry:

• Colibacillosis – a common E. coli infection affecting respiratory and digestive systems
• Salmonellosis – bacterial infection that can cause diarrhea and systemic illness
• Mycoplasmosis – respiratory disease caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum or M. synoviae
• Mixed or chronic bacterial infections – especially in broilers, layers, and chicks1

💊 Dosage & Administration:

• Typically given orally through drinking water
• Standard dosage: 0.1 mL per kg of body weight, or 0.5 L per 1000 L of water (50 ppm Enrofloxacin)
• Duration: 3–5 days, depending on severity (5 days for salmonellosis)

⚠️ Important Notes:

• Withdrawal time: 4 days for meat; not recommended for laying hens producing eggs for consumption
• Avoid use in birds with known resistance to quinolones or history of streptococcal infections
